Serverly
Anthony, the founder of Serverly, came to me with a rough prototype and a clear goal — to turn it into a polished, intuitive platform for tracking domains, servers, websites, and SSL in one place.
I handled the end-to-end product design: from shaping the product vision and UX to building a scalable design system and crafting the brand identity. The focus? Make monitoring feel effortless, clean, and trustworthy for dev teams.

Problem statement
As companies scale, they often lose track of their digital assets. They no longer have clear visibility into what they own, where it’s hosted, whether it’s currently online, or when critical assets like SSL certificates and domain names are set to expire. This lack of visibility leads to painful outages, expired SSLs, broken pages, and even security vulnerabilities. Downtime can cost thousands per minute, and a single browser warning about an invalid certificate can instantly erode user trust.
Challenges
When I joined Serverly, the product was already in motion but it needed a stronger foundation to succeed.
No clear visual identity
They needed a logo and design direction that could help them stand out in a competitive, developer-focused space.
Cluttered and inconsistent UI.
The early version lacked clarity, which could lead to poor first impressions and early user drop-offs.
No design system.
Without reusable components, scaling the product and collaborating with developers would be difficult.
Ideation & Expansion
Working closely with the founder and backend engineer, we explored the full potential of Serverly.
What began as a simple redesign quickly evolved into something bigger — a more robust, intuitive, and thoughtful product. Together, we reimagined the platform’s structure, refined the core features, and expanded on ideas that made monitoring not just functional, but user-friendly and scalable.
Server Upload and monitoring
Users can upload a single server or import multiple at once. Once connected, Serverly begins monitoring key performance metrics like CPU load, disk usage, and memory. It also automatically discovers all hosted websites, simplifying setup for users managing multiple sites — all while ensuring data privacy through secure, verified syncing.

Website monitoring
Serverly provides a unified interface to track uptime, SSL, domain health, and page content — giving teams full visibility into their infrastructure.

Website design
After completing the web app, I moved on to designing the marketing website. The goal was to reflect Serverly’s clean, minimal brand identity while clearly communicating its value. The site features a straightforward layout, a focused value proposition, and a strong call to action — making it easy for users to understand the product and get started quickly.
Logo Design
The Serverly logo was crafted to reflect the platform’s clean, friendly identity. The symbol blends simplicity and structure, hinting at connection and monitoring — key pillars of the product. It’s versatile across light and dark modes, ensuring a strong, consistent presence whether on web app, mobile app and website.
Design System
I developed a robust and scalable design system for Serverly, streamlining the UI across all components and ensuring a consistent visual language. This system enabled faster iteration, improved developer handoff, and maintained coherence as the product evolved.
Conclusion
What made this project special was doing it all solo. What started as a simple redesign quickly grew into something much bigger — a more intuitive, scalable, and thoughtful product. Alongside the founder, I helped reimagine the platform’s structure, sharpen the core features, and expand ideas that made monitoring both functional and user-friendly.
Serverly is still a work in progress, but the groundwork is solid. From the product experience to the brand identity and design system, everything has been built with clarity and growth in mind. As we approach launch, our focus is on refining, testing with users, and delivering a seamless experience for teams managing their digital infrastructure.
